Multi-site hospitality and travel operators

Many sites, one set of numbers

Operators with dozens of sites and hundreds of suppliers run on documents: supplier invoices, tickets, purchase orders, applications. Each one is read by a person, matched by a person and keyed by a person. We have automated three of the heaviest of those processes for operators in this sector.

Problems we solve

“A team spends its days matching supplier documents to bookings”

AI extraction from invoices and tickets, automated matching against the booking system, and an exceptions queue for discrepancies.

“Recruitment runs on spreadsheets that cannot keep up”

One system for applicants where each site’s own checks and clearance steps are built in, with reporting on who is where in the process.

“Purchase orders and supplier onboarding happen by email”

Purchase request and approval workflows on Microsoft 365 with GL-code validation and exports to your finance system.

“Head office cannot see site performance without a weekly spreadsheet round”

A reporting model across EPOS, bookings, labour and finance.

Work we have delivered

Project example

Invoice-to-booking reconciliation for a travel retailer

Around 500 bookings a day produced 1,000 to 2,000 supplier invoices, tickets and certificates, each checked against the booking by a person. The pipeline reads them, matches them to the booking system and surfaces only the discrepancies and amendment gaps.

Built with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory and Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Power BI
