How to work with your Power Bi Desktop on Mac

Growing popularity of MacBooks and their excellent portability makes MacOS a great alternative to a Windows computer for your data oriented work.

Despite a PowerBi desktop application does not yet exists for Mac OS there are four ways you can work with desktop client of PowerBi from you MacBook.

  1. Build data transformations in Data Flows.
  2. Make use of virtualisation on Mac (Intel versions only) - use Parallels or VirtualBox.
  3. Complete your data transformations in Azure Data Factory.
  4. Connect desktop environment on Azure
